One of the most well-known piano solo pieces that were writtenb by Maurice Ravel is "Le Tombeau de Couperin", this piece was dedicated to his friends who were victims in WWI, with the intention of creating a heaven image, in which his friends will find eternal peace.

My question is what if the afterlife has the same, if not more, amount of suffering and pain? What if one has to experience hell in order to appreciate heaven?
